We have seen Farrah in her glamour days. We know the hair, her looks and her charm. Yet, I find I'm more drawn to her now. She is weak, yet strong. She has unwavering commitment to life, and I love that. She refuses to be defined by her hair. I saw her with only her bangs, and she has never looked more beautiful. She seemed hesitant as first to let the world see that side of her. Once she unveiled it, she was glowing...beaming...because she was so incredibly free. Free from the secret, free from fear, and free from critics. She was free to be completely and underly herself.
How we all want to discover that freedom in ourselves. Thank you, Farrah, for having the courage and strength, the belief in and love for yourself. Thank you for allowing us to see inside your soul and for the ability you have to touch mine. Thank you, Farrah, for being my hero, for being the world's hero...not because of your hair, looks or charm, but because you are brave enough to be yourself through this fight and allow the world to stand beside you and admire you.
